Noah's Ark is a Childcare and Nursery providing daycare for Infants, Toddler, Preschool as well as a Before and After School care program in Richmond Hill.

We have six classes ranging in size between ten to sixteen children each aged one month to five years of age.

Dark Blue Infant Room
Leaving your infant in someone else’s care can cause feelings of anxiety. Our infant room has been designed to create a warm and secure environment for infants as an extension of their home. Be rest assured, our infant educators are passionate about their work and will support you and your child during the transition phase. Through thoughtful interactions, Noah’s Ark educators form strong bonds with each child to create a sense of security that allows them to thrive.Our teachers work collaboratively with parents to ensure consistency with the infant’s daily schedule; including nap times, play times and feeding times between home and our centre. Afterall, it is all a team effort!
Noah’s Ark Infant curriculum is designed to cultivate early communication skills and builds a foundation for language development in a safe and loving environment. Our educators are focused on engaging children to reach developmental milestones, while caring for the individual child’s emotional needs.Our program is adaptable to meet your baby’s unique needs and schedule. Our infant classroom includes a separate sleep room so babies can sleep on their own schedule and those that are awake, can engage in activities with their educators.
Daily activities such as circle time, crafts, songs, games, reading books, neighbourhood walks and, age appropriate educational toys provide the perfect atmosphere for all infants growing minds and bodies. Our infants at Noah’s Ark Childcare and Nursery grasp new ideas, discover language, crawl and walk, all while growing into little independent people.

movement, discovering creative and sensory material, puzzles, stories, blocks, dramatic play and learning to play with others! Our educators are your trusted partners in guiding your child’s development – from toilet training to language development to learning how to work cooperatively with others. We go beyond typical daycare rules to provide nurturing guidance in helping our toddlers achieve and master key developmental milestones.The Toddler classroom experience is a child‐centered, educator‐guided learning environment.

Our youngest group of preschoolers*
Our preschoolers will love for you to step in their world and see the classroom how they do! Noah’s Ark preschool program is a vibrant, experiential learning environment for your little explorer. Children’s imaginations will be capture through our exciting program including art, music, movement, technology and drama lessons. Our educators provide an enriching experience designed to build self-exploration and self-confidence laying the foundation for a love of learning.In the Preschool classroom children will begin learning about letter recognition, pre-writing skills, reading skills, number recognition, sequencing, and patterning. Each child is valued as an individual and is encouraged at the earliest age to become a responsible, independent, productive, problem solving person.We encourage all children in our preschool program to participate in both large and small group activities. These include dramatic play, arts and crafts, sensory experiences, small and large motor activities, outdoor play and special field trips.
Our teachers strive to provide a curriculum that focuses on the child’s entire development, and help prepare them for entry into the school system. The teachers work together to facilitate programming that is educational, fun and keeps the children’s interests engaged.

Before and After School
If you want your child to be productive even after school hours are over Noah’s Ark is the place to be! Noah’s Ark Childcare and nursery has developed a program that is strategically arranged for before and after school hours. This program also allows for children to have social interaction, developing essential social skills that will ultimately lead them to healthy lifestyles and good choices for their future.
The primary goals of this program are to provide a comfortable, safe and stimulating environment to effectively meet the needs of school-aged children. The teaching staff strives to build a respectful classroom community while meeting individual needs through various activities which are experimental, self-discovering and challenging. The children are encouraged to complete their homework during their time with us, please let us know if you would like their homework completed before they are picked up.

March Break/Christmas Camp/Summer Camp
There’s no place like Noah’s Ark during the March Break/Christmas or Summer Camp time! The children explore and learn while having fun! All sessions will include hot healthy meals prepared by our own chef, snacks, field trips within walking distance, arts and crafts, music, games and water activities. We will also have special driving distance trips to exciting places (additional fee may apply). It is our goal to offer the most fun possible for all your children.
