Noah's Ark is a Childcare and Nursery providing daycare for Infants, Toddler, Preschool as well as a Before and After School care program in Richmond Hill.
The teachers at Noah's Ark Childcare and Nursery are chosen for their experience and also for their love of children, knowledge of child development and the love of Christ and the church.
Our Nursery is licensed for infants 1 day to 18 months of age and designed to be a warm, safe and secure environment.
Teachers work collaboratively with each other and with the parents to ensure consistency with the infant's daily schedule including nap times, play times and feeding times between home and daycare. Our Centre's loving and nurturing atmosphere will help develop a sense of trust, autonomy and will encourage curiosity and motivate learning. A variety of toys, games, puzzles, music and other equipment are available to encourage infants to discover new ideas, learn language, explore, build their gross motor skills and learn about Christ as they grow into independent toddlers. A written Daily Log of your infant's day is available for you to take home at the end of each day.

We recognize that each child is evolving into their own unique personality. Each individual child’s needs will be met by following a flexible schedule which includes structured indoor and outdoor activities. These activities are designed as developmentally appropriate, and foster the growth of language development, positive non-aggressive problem solving, self-help skills and social awareness.
We strive to provide an environment which contains a wide variety of materials and experiences, some of which may be familiar, while others will be new and challenging for your toddler. Children learn through play in the areas around the classroom such as; building/construction, drama/role-playing, gross motor, problem solving, exploring and discovery, communicating and creating. As part of our daily routine there will be songs and stories from the bible. A written Daily Log of your toddler’s day will be available for you to take home at the end of each day.

The Preschool Program’s teachers are sensitive and interested observers.
They learn about each child as an individual and observe what their interests are. They will use these observations to create activities which allow the children to succeed, at their own level of development.
