Nahed Yanes

Hello, I’m Nahed Yanes, the Chef at Noah’s Ark daycare. With over a decade of experience in education, I have a University diploma from Egypt and hold certifications in YorkSafe Food handling, CCEYA, and CPR C – AED. I enjoy getting to know children of all ages and backgrounds, and working with them is not just a profession, but a passion of mine. I take great joy in creating positive relationships with food for kids and believe that good nutrition is essential to their growth and development. My menus are not only healthy but also appealing to young taste buds. With my unique culinary background, commitment to nutrition, and love for working with children, I am confident that I will bring great value to the centre and the children in my care.

My name is Faranak partovi and I was born and raised in Iran. I’m married and I have two children.I came to Canada in 2014. I have a Master of Banking from Iran. I worked at a Montessori school for 2 years, and I have been working at Noah’s Ark daycare since February 2018. As an ECA, I am driven by my love for young children and their boundless energy and creativity.
Working with children is not just a job for me, it is a passion. I feel a deep sense of fulfillment when I see a child grow and develop into their own unique individuals. I believe that children are like sponges, soaking up everything they see, hear, and experience. I believe it is my responsibility to provide them with a safe, nurturing, and positive environment where they can explore, learn and grow.

Hello I’m Ms.Fatma I’m an Early Childhood Educator, and I graduated from Seneca college in 2019.

I have been working at the Noah’s Ark Childcare and Nursery for over  2 years and I am so passionate about watching children grow and learn and being a part of that learning, playing such a special and pivotal role in their little lives.

Vivian Dief

I have a history degree from the  University of Cairo, I graduated in 1994. I have been with Noah’s Ark since 2018.

I was a previous teacher at the YRDSB and have been since 2014. Before that I worked at a daycare in Cairo.

I love to provide an environment of learning, growth, love and kindness for the children!

Marjan Mofif-Alagha

Mrs. Marjan is an Early Childcare Assistant (ECA) with over 10 years of experience in the field of early childhood education and care. She has always had a passion for working with children and finds great joy in being able to teach and care for them. Mrs. Marjan loves the energy and enthusiasm that children bring to her work, and she finds it incredibly rewarding to watch them grow and develop under her guidance. A fun fact about Mrs. Marjan is that she loves to incorporate music and movement into her lessons, which makes her engaging and fun to be around for the children. She believes in the importance of providing enriching experiences for her students to help them reach their full potential. Overall, Mrs. Marjan is a caring and dedicated early childhood educator who is passionate about providing a nurturing environment where children can learn and thrive.

Rozita Pourkhalili

Hi my name is Rozita Pourkhalili, I have a bachelor’s degree in educational technology from Azad University, Iran. Throughout my years I have accumulated over 25 years of experience working mostly with children between the ages of two to eight years of age. My duties and responsibilities consist of tending to children’s needs and to prepare them for daily activities. My mission is to provide a safe and progressive environment in which children can develop and learn skills that will benefit them in the future. My goal is to see that enrolled children benefit from their time spent at Noah’s Ark Childcare and Nursery. Lastly, I believe that safety, having fun, and a healthy development is key towards the children’s long-term success. Thank you

Emma Arciero

Hi there! My name is Ms Emma! I am an Early Childcare Assistant (ECA) here at Noah’s Ark!
I have had experience working with children since high school, where I would volunteer in my mother’s elementary school classrooms. I followed closely in her footsteps and have previously worked at an elementary school, working in classrooms and one on one with children with disabilities, and now at Noah’s Ark as an Educational Assistant. I graduated from the University of Windsor in 2023 with a Bachelors in Social Work.
Throughout my educational and professional experience, I have discovered a love for teaching young children, and fostering an environment of learning, love, and care.
I can’t wait to meet you and develop with all the children here at Noah’s Ark!
